Theme:

Students will learn that Jesus is the Son of God who lived on Earth and loves us. They will learn that the Holy Spirit is our source of strength that enriches our daily lives.

 
 

Objective:

To understand that God is present in our lives and it is God who gives us life and grace.

 
 

Prayers:

Should know all prayers learned in Pre-Kinder plus these new prayers:

  • Glory to The Father

  • The Apostles Creen

  • Grace before/after meals

 
 

Goals:

  • God is our Creator who made all living things.

  • God’s love is limitless.

  • God wants us to be happy and always forgives us.

  • There are 3 persons in God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
    Jesus is the Son of God.

  • Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary.

  • Jesus came to tell us of God’s love and to help people live a life of loving others.

  • Jesus shared his body and blood at the Last Supper.

  • The Last Supper is remembers at every Eucharistic Liturgy.

  • Jesus brought us God’s forgiveness through his death on the cross.

  • Jesus rose from the dead.

  • The Holy Spirit is sent to us by Jesus to help us.

  • The Bible is a collection of books in which we learn about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

  • Through Baptism, we become members of God’s family, the Church.
